About Ashland Little League
Ashland Little League, established in 1964, serves the Western Hanover County area of Virginia with youth baseball, softball, and challenger programs for players ages 4 through 16. A 100% volunteer-run nonprofit affiliated with Little League International, the league competes within Virginia District 5 and provides the Little League experience to over 300 players across spring and fall seasons, offering divisions from T-Ball through Seniors Baseball and Softball.
History
Established in 1964, Ashland Little League has served the Western Hanover County, Virginia community for over 60 years as a 100% volunteer-run nonprofit. Chartered by Little League International and operating within Virginia District 5, the league celebrated its 60th season in 2024. It currently serves over 300 players per season across spring and fall programs, offering T-Ball through Seniors Baseball and Softball, along with a Challengers division for special needs players ages 4 through 21.
