About Bellevue West Little League
Introduction Bellevue West Little League is a Non-Profit 501c3 organization that focuses on youth baseball located in Bellevue, Washington. Bellevue West Little League is one of 14 Little Leagues that make up District 9 Little League located east of Lake Washington near Seattle. District 9 includes the Cities of Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Issaquah, Sammamish, Mercer Island, and the Snoqualmie Valley from Duvall to North Bend and all the County land in between these cities. Bellevue West Little League was founded in West Bellevue during our inaugural season of 1977. Since then, we have introduced the game of baseball to more than 7,500 players from Tee Ball to Majors. We provide a safe, positive environment for our players who live within the Bellevue West Little League boundary. We aspire to build a premier Little League in Washington State, providing every child the opportunity to play competitive Little League baseball, run by dedicated volunteers who commit to the success of our players and the West Bellevue community. League Boundary Bellevue West includes the communities of Woodridge, Enatai, Clyde Hill, Medina, Yarrow Point, and Hunts Point. Bellevue West Little League serves players whose permanent residence or school location is in West Bellevue within the following boundaries: South of State Route 520, BUT including Evergreen Point, Hunts Point and Yarrow Point) North of I-90 West of Kelsey Creek East of Lake Washington If you live or go to school within the Bellevue West boundaries you are welcome to play in Bellevue West Little League. Example schools include: Bellevue Christian School Chinook Middle School Clyde Hill Elementary Enatai Elementary International School Medina Elementary Sacred Heart School St. Thomas School Woodridge Elementary Children at the youngest levels of Little League Baseball (League Age 4-7) are also invited to play in Bellevue West Little League, or any local Little League program they choose, without respect to any geography- or school-related eligibility requirements. A player may request a waiver to continue to play in Bellevue West if they previously lived within league boundaries and played (or parent coached).
