We are also Crystal Lake's only chartered Little League® baseball organization and have served this great community for over 65 years. We are proud to be an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) organization. Our volunteer board members and 100+ managers and coaches are willing and dedicated to making this league the best baseball environment possible for your kids to flourish in. Some highlights of what separates us from the rest: - We do not require any mandatory fundraising or additional fundraising fees. - 40+ teams broken into 5 In-House divisions serving kids ages 4-12. - 100+ Coaches are required to participate and pass the USA Baseball “A” Certification including the Confident Baseball Coach Course, Abuse Awareness for Adults, Introduction to Pitch Smart, and Basic First Aid. -All volunteers must complete Little League’s annual background check, including nationwide criminal and a National Sex Offender Registry search administered by J.D. Palatine.. - 2 additional opportunities for higher levels of play through our Little League International All Star & New CL Babe Ruth Ironman Tournament Teams. These teams provide for advanced level players to further develop their skill and compete by traveling to play against other teams in McHenry County, the Midwest, and from around the World. - The finest fields in the NW suburbs offering play at the renowned baseball fields at Lippold Park, Central High School, Knoeppel Field at Crystal Lake Main Beach, West Elementary and Lundahl Middle Schools. - Our open evaluation and draft system directed & managed closely by our board to ensure the fairest and most even rostering of teams.Our stringent pitch count and player positional rules enforced to protect our players arm health and also to assure player engagement, development and fun by ensuring they get to play all positions on the field. - Professionally trained and certified umpires provided through Fox Valley Blues Umpires Association.Incredible concessions!
