Challenger Team We love being able to provide a place for players to play baseball! The Little League Challenger Program is an adaptive baseball program for individuals with physical and intellectual challenges. This team has the BEST time every season and we would love to continue to grow this team. How Does Our Game Work? Our team plays with foam balls which are designed to travel through the field without causing injury. We have a variety of bats for the players to use. Players do not have to wear a helmet or cleats but may if they wish to. We have a supply of these on hand should a player need them. Parents ARE allowed & encouraged to be on the field with their player as much as they wish. The team is divided by boys and girls, batting through the complete order each time. Our dedicated coach learns the players and pitches to them in a way for them to be able to hit the ball. There is no strike limit, once contact is made the player begins to run the bases. Outs & Runs are not counted, the goal is to HAVE FUN! Watch A Video About Our Team Spring Season is April through June & the Fall Season is September through October. Base Buddies are teams who come to play with our Challenger Team. They will partner up individually with the players, run the bases, play the field, and bring smiles to all involved.
