About Del Rey American Little League
Del Rey American Little League (DRALL) is a youth baseball organization serving the Del Rey neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. Founded in 1954, the league is a Little League International affiliate in California District 37, offering divisions from T-ball through Juniors. DRALL has produced competitive all-star teams, including multiple District 37 champions and a player who won gold at the 12U Baseball World Cup.
History
Del Rey American Little League was founded in 1954 in the Del Rey area of Los Angeles, California. The league celebrated its 70th anniversary with Opening Day in 2024. Over the decades it has developed into a competitive program within California District 37, winning multiple district championships. Notably, in 2023 a DRALL player (Julian Knudsen) won gold with the 12U USA National Team at the Baseball World Cup. The league runs an annual Hit-a-Thon fundraiser, raising over $40,000 three years in a row, and participates in the LAX Coastal Chamber of Commerce 4th of July Parade.
