About Kingsbridge Little League
Kingsbridge Little League is a non-profit youth baseball and softball organization located in the Kingsbridge neighborhood of the Bronx, New York, serving boys and girls across multiple age divisions. Founded in 1951, the league is dedicated to developing sportsmanship, teamwork, and a love of the game, aspiring to be one of the premier youth baseball programs in New York.
History
Kingsbridge Little League was founded in 1951 by community leader Conrad "Cooney" Grauer, who established the league to provide Bronx youth with a safe and enriching environment to learn and play baseball. The league's home field, Cooney Grauer Field at W. 233rd St. & Bailey Ave in the Bronx, is named in his honor. For over 70 years the league has served the Kingsbridge community as part of Little League District 23.
