About Lincoln Youth Baseball Little League
Lincoln Youth Baseball Little League serves the Lincoln High School territory in Southwest Portland, Oregon, offering T-Ball, Coach Pitch, AA, AAA, and Major Division programs for players ages 4 to 12 (kindergarten through 6th grade). The league is a sanctioned Little League program focused on community-based youth baseball and softball for boys and girls.
History
Lincoln Youth Baseball (LYB) operated as a member of the Cal Ripken League for over 10 years before its board of directors voted to rejoin Little League International. The transition was made to provide more consistent safety rules and clearly written baseball rules by division, and to allow LYB to schedule games with neighboring Little League programs in the Southwest Portland area, including Raleigh Hills, Cedar Mill, and Southwest Portland leagues.
