About Louisa Little League
Louisa Little League is a youth baseball and softball organization located in Louisa County, Virginia, serving approximately 400 players at the minor, major, and senior league divisions. A chartered member of Little League International since 1974, the league competes in US Virginia District 14 and offers both baseball and softball programs to girls and boys. Louisa Little League is dedicated to fostering sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, and respect in the youth of the community.
History
Louisa Little League became a chartered member of Little League International in 1974, bringing organized youth baseball to Louisa County, Virginia. Twenty-one years later, in 1995, the league expanded to include girls softball to meet the growing demand for the sport. Today the league serves approximately 400 boys and girls across baseball and softball programs at the minor, major, and senior league divisions, competing in Little League International's US Virginia District 14.
