Middletown Little League

History Since 1960, The Middletown Youth Athletic Association has charted Middletown Little League through Little League International in Williamsport, PA to provide an opportunity for all boys and girls ages 5 through 16 within our charter boundaries to participate in a youth baseball/softball program. Our primary goal is to provide a safe and fun environment to learn the rules and strategies of the game, to learn sportsmanship and respect for their fellow players and coaches. The children and coaches in our Little League community are exposed to the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, and respect for authority – so that they may be well adjusted, stronger, and happier children and will grow to be good, decent, healthy, and trustworthy citizens. All Directors, Officers, Managers, Coaches and Members shall bear in mind that the attainment of exceptional athletic skill and the winning of games is secondary to the positive molding of future citizens. Middletown Little League (MYAA) is a non-profit ALL volunteer run organization and offer an organized Little League Baseball/Softball program with divisions for boys and girls ages 5 through 16. Our league is open to players in Middletown that live within our chartered boundaries set by Little League International. Our program runs from registration fees we collect from our families and donations from local businesses. Before signing up, please confirm that you live within our boundary map. Our boundaries include the public elementary school districts of Bayview, Fairview, Harmony, Leonardo, Middletown Village, New Monmouth, Ocean Ave, Port Monmouth and River Plaza. St Marys elementary school is also within our charter boundaries. Our volunteer Board Members, Team Managers, and Coaches provide a safe and fun environment to teach good sportsmanship and respect for their fellow players and help the players learn the rules and strategies of the game. We do not receive any financial support from Middletown property taxes, Middletown Parks and Recreation or the Township of Middletown.
