History

Mt. Eden Little League was established in 1957 in Hayward, California, serving the Mt. Eden neighborhood as part of Little League District 45. Two years after its founding, in 1959, the league was split into two separate leagues: Mt. Eden American and Mt. Eden National. In 2008, both leagues merged to form the current Mt. Eden Little League. The league makes its home at Anthony W. Ochoa Middle School, playing at Ochoa Fields at 2121 Depot Road in Hayward. The league colors are Royal Blue and Gold, a nod to nearby Mt. Eden High School where many of the league's players eventually attend.
