About Ocean Township Little League - Online
Ocean Township Little League is a non-profit youth baseball and softball organization in Ocean, New Jersey, operated entirely by dedicated volunteers. The league mission is to provide an environment that fosters safety, security, and positive sportsmanship models for the children of the community.
History
Ocean Township Little League (OTLL) was founded around 1959 by local organizers in Ocean Township, New Jersey under the umbrella of Little League International. The Colt family donated property at 2811 Logan Road—known as Colt Field—which has served as the league's home since construction circa 1959. James J. Colt played a central role in the league's founding, and the family donation stipulated that the complex be used solely for Little League baseball. OTLL operates as a non-profit 501(c)(3), volunteer-run organization with a mission to provide a safe environment emphasizing positive sportsmanship for children in the community.
