Salem Little League

The Salem Little League is based in Salem, IL and is a member league of Illinois District 1 of Little League, Inc. Our league features baseball and softball programs for boys and girls ages 4 to 15. The objectives of the Salem Little League is to implant firmly in the children of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for the authority, so that they may be well adjusted, stronger and happier children and will grow to be good, decent, healthy and trustworthy citizens. To achieve this objective, the Salem Little League will provide a supervised program under the Rules and Regulations of Little League Baseball, Incorporated. All Members shall bear in mind that the attainment of exceptional athletic skill or winning of games is secondary and the molding of future citizens is of prime importance.
