About Santa Anita Little League
Santa Anita Little League is a non-profit organization dedicated to building and supporting life skills and character in the community's youth through baseball and softball. Founded in 1956 and chartered via Little League International under Western Division 17 in Arcadia, California, the league features both girls softball and a special needs Challenger division, serving children ages 4 through 14.
History
Santa Anita Little League was founded in 1956 and chartered with Little League International under Western Division 17 in Arcadia, California. The all-volunteer league has grown to include both baseball and softball programs and added a special needs Challenger division. The softball program, which restarted in 2021 after a long hiatus, has grown from one team to seven teams by 2026, and in 2026 won the District 17 Softball Tournament of Champions for the first time since 2000.
