Born in Williamsport in 1939 and alive today in more than 80 countries around the world, Little League’s baseball divisions provide a wide-range of participation opportunities from Tee Ballers to teenagers. Since 1974, girls have enjoyed their first experience on a softball field as part of the Little League program. Today, those Girls with Game® are celebrated in more than 20 countries around the world, a reach unlike any other in youth softball. Played in more than 1,000 communities around the world, Little League’s adaptive baseball and softball program for players with physical and intellectual challenges allows communities to truly offer a program for every child.
