About Wausau Little League
Wausau Youth Baseball & Softball, Inc. (WYBS) is a volunteer-driven youth sports organization serving the Wausau, Wisconsin area since 1953. The league offers recreational baseball and softball programs for children across a range of age groups, operating under the Little League and Babe Ruth organizations. WYBS is committed to teaching fundamental skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a positive and fun environment.
History
Wausau Youth Baseball & Softball was founded in 1953 as Wausau Youth Baseball under the Little League International organization. The organization later expanded to include softball in the mid-1990s under the Babe Ruth organization, becoming Wausau Youth Baseball & Softball, Inc. A fully volunteer-driven organization, it has served the Wausau, Wisconsin community for over seven decades by providing youth baseball and softball programs emphasizing good sportsmanship, fair play, and teamwork.
