About Works Little League

W.O.R.K.S. Little League Baseball has served the communities of Woodhaven, Ozone Park, Richmond Hill, Kew Gardens, and South Ozone Park in Queens, New York since 1958. The league offers T-ball, Girls Softball, Baseball, and a Challenger Division for players with disabilities, and was the first Little League program in New York City to establish a Challenger Division.

History

Founded in 1958, W.O.R.K.S. Little League Baseball has been a cornerstone of youth baseball in the Queens communities of Woodhaven, Ozone Park, Richmond Hill, Kew Gardens, and South Ozone Park for over six decades. The league made history as the first Little League program in New York City to establish a Challenger Division for players with physical and cognitive challenges, reflecting its inclusive mission to serve all children. The league has been featured on NY1, SNY, and in local Queens press for its community impact and championship teams.
